"Good-Enough" Mother Support Group
Many of us believe that having “negative” feelings towards our children, ourselves, or about our parenting is unacceptable and in conflict with our desire to be good parents. When we deny these feelings, they often come out in ways that make us feel worse about ourselves. Being a "good-enough" mother means we are allowed to acknowledge our whole selves, not just the parts we are comfortable with.
Join this professionally led, short-term support group for mothers and discover how you can be a good-enough mother to yourself and your children. In this group we will explore our identities as women and mothers, our beliefs about parenting, and learn about our styles of communication through group discussion and exercises.
